Sales Promotion.  Activities, Resources & Agencies (2002)

Sales Promotion.  Activities, Resources & Agencies is the 1st detailed study of the UK sales Promotion Industry.   It was conducted with the collaboration of the Institute of Sales Promotion and Promotions & Incentives Magazine.  Based on responses to a comprehensive survey of clients the report has 150 pages including tables to enable benchmarking.

"This research will provide any agency concerned with sales promotion with some fascinating insights into client attitudes and behaviour. A number of significant issues and opportunities are raised, all of them positive for agencies looking to move client / agency relationships forward."  Mark Beasley, Planning Director of Perspectives Red Cell     "This research is very timely and I commend those who have initiated it. It may just be the catalyst that I have been envisioning for SP, that will encourage it to come out of the closet and regain its rightful place that it occupied a decade or so ago."  Colin Lloyd, President of the Direct Marketing Association   "This report provides very welcome and timely information, the conclusions of which will help to develop further the profile and recognition of significance of the role of Sales Promotion." Caroline Whitehouse,  ISBA   "We can conclude from this report that SP, or its evolved moniker, promotional marketing, is very much alive and well and an increasingly effective part of the marketing mix."  Randle Stonier, Chairman ISP and Chief Executive of Skybridge.
